Merchiston went in to bat first and made an impressive total of only157. I say only because although Ardvreck, sadly again, leaked Extras, they batted and backed up properly. More fours would have been scored if the ball rolled more..! Edgar D and Antoine, keeping wicket, took tricky catches, and Antoine, too, a good stumping - grounds for future optimism..!

Today Ardvreck, played some shots at the crease, but the levels of concentration simply weren't there to beat a team of this calibre: total 34.
